With help and input from the public during planning, the project team identified several areas of consideration to minimize disruptions to residents, businesses, and visitors to Adams Morgan:

• Bus routes
• Parking
• Trash collection
• Business loading and drop-off areas
• School drop-off and parking
• Emergency vehicle access

Additional study is occurring to identify ways to further minimize impacts during construction.

The project will be constructed in phases to reduce construction-related disturbances. During each phase, there may be temporary traffic and pedestrian detours associated with travel lane and sidewalk closures or shifts.
