Public Involvement and Outreach
Similar to the public involvement and outreach that occurred during project planning, DDOT will use several methods to disseminate information to stakeholders and the general public throughout design, advertisement, and construction of the project: Public Involvement Meetings, Steering Committee, Business Owner Survey, and Additional Outreach.
During construction, DDOT will also convey information regarding appropriate driving and travel behavior, detours, and accessibility options associated with the work zone.

The goal of the steering committee will be to anticipate, communicate, and resolve issues related to project safety, sequence of improvements, and access during construction. The Steering Committee meets periodically throughout the design process to review public outreach information and provide general feedback.
Additional OutreachProject news will continue to be distributed through the end of construction. Check the website periodically for project/construction updates. The following resources will also be incorporated to keep the public informed on the latest project happenings:
- Mailings/emails to stakeholders and interested parties
- Newspapers, radio, and television announcements
- Message displays of construction activities and detours throughout project corridor
